The autopsy on the body of pop star Michael Jackson has been completed, but the coroner has ordered further tests and the cause of death has not been determined, a spokesman said.
Craig Harvey from the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office also said the autopsy showed no sign of external trauma or indication of foul play.
The cause of death has been deferred, which means the medical examiner has ordered additional testing such as toxicology and other studies, Craig Harvey, operations chief for the coroner, told a throng of reporters. He said that once those tests are completed in four to six weeks, "We anticipate being able to close the case and issuing a final cause of death."
